Enabling the sales commission feature in your AutoPro.io dealership management software<\/h2>\n

Step 1<\/h3>\n

Click on settings in the sales module<\/h4>\n

After navigating to the sales module from the main menu, click on the new settings button in the top right of the screen. Step 2<\/h3>\n

Click to check the enable sales commission toggle<\/h4>\n

Once you are in the settings view of the sales module, make sure you are on the commissions tab.<\/p>\n

From there, you will need to click the checkbox labeled “Enable sales commissions” in order to, as the name suggests, enable sales commissions.<\/p>\n

Once this checkbox has been checked, the remaining options will appear.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=”custom” el_width=”60″ accent_color=”#bbbbbb”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/h3>\n

Tell us how you calculate your teams commissions<\/h4>\n

Next, tell the software how it should calculate your team member’s sales commission. You have three options for the calculation: flat rate commission, a percentage of the vehicle sale price and\/or a percentage of the profit from the sale.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> selecting multiple options will add them together.<\/p>\n

The three options are:<\/p>\n

Flat rate<\/strong>: Select this option if you want to include a flat amount for each sale. Once this option is selected, you will be able to define the flat amount.<\/p>\n

Percentage of sale price: <\/strong>Selecting this option will include a percentage of the sale price in the sale commission calculation. Once this option is selected, you will be able to define the percentage to use for the calculation of the sale commission.<\/p>\n

Percentage of sale profit: <\/strong>Selecting this option will include a percentage of the profit from the sale in the sale commission calculation. Once this option is selected, you will be able to define the percentage to use for the calculation of the sale commission. Save your settings<\/h4>\n

Enabling reports for your sales team members<\/h2>\n

Click on Admin Groups under Settings in the main menu<\/h4>\n

Step 2<\/h3>\n

Click on permissions for the “Sales” group<\/h4>\n

From the admin groups view, find the row labeled “Sales” in the table.<\/p>\n

Click the “Edit Permissions” button in the top left<\/h4>\n

Step 4<\/h3>\n

Set the permissions for the “Reports” module for the Sales group<\/h4>\n

After clicking the edit permissions button in the top left corner, the permissions icons will transform into editable checkboxes.<\/p>\n

You will want to make sure that the “Reports” row has the “View” permission and the “Own Only” permission checked.<\/p>\n

Creating Sales Commissions<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Sales commissions will be automatically created when you or one of your team members enter a new sale into the software.<\/p>\n

The amount of the sale commission will be automatically calculated based on the rules set by the administrator.<\/p>\n

Modifying or Deleting a Sales Commission<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In order to edit, or cancel a sale commission, navigate to the commissions view, in the sales module.<\/p>\n

Here, you will see a table of all sales commissions.<\/p>\n

Each row represents a commission.<\/p>\n

Sales Commission Reports<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In the reports module, we have added a new report that will give you information about sales commissions given out for a certain date range.<\/p>\n

You can access the sales commission report by going to the reports module in the left hand menu, and then entering a date range.<\/p>\n

Under sales report, you will see a new report for sales commissions.<\/p>\n
